Animals in intensive animal producing systems focused on increase of
production are pushed away from natural life conditions. Proven scientifically, these production conditions generate stresses on animals and thus negatively influence food quality and safety. These days consumers are demanding competitive and humane animal producing models

which provide more transparency, traceability and quality assurance. Scientific research in increasing acceleration is aiming at the determination of minimum welfare requirements requirements and standardization of animals.
