Summary
The project (WELFOOD) product and results of training tools related to the animal welfare x
environment x food quality interactions are enriched with consideration of cultural, socio-economic and religious approaches in order to determine a common work definition for all sectorial workers having different moral and social values on the subject of animal welfare and food safety.To produce training tools that are used in communication technologies. The target group of the project are students, teachers, sectoral entrerprise workers and their family members (elderly or disabled members, wife/husband and children) and project partners are Central and Southeastern Europe countries (Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia).
Cirruculum and syllabus, certificate of training course,
printed copies of the results of the project (book form), brochure and publicity leaflets, publications in sectoral and scientific journals, conferences, seminars and consultancy by each partners and raports of these activities, documents the articles or radio/TV coverage, the modular training curricula on CD-ROM, a summary CD-ROM including the methodology and the teaching materials, training materials on CD-ROM and cartoons and pictured stories. The expected impact of the project, in the short term is to train of target groups within their cultural perspective in the topic of animal welfare and food safety with the use of courses and printed products, encouragement of the use of ICT techniques, and provision of knowledge, skill and quality (provision of certificate) and in the long term to qualify the registered and hidden workforce (sectoral workers’ family and partners, children, elderly etc who work without payment) and reinforcement of workforce market, achieve enhancement of fast orientated work force to new technology will serve production of quality and healthy food, and to establish workers’ knowledge on animal welfare that fed by cultural diversity but globalized are all aimed.
